Design and development of tofacitinib citrate loaded transferosomal gel for skin cancer by box-Behnken design- doe approach

Objective: The purpose of the present study is to develop, statistically optimize and evaluate transfersomal gel formulation Tofacitinib citrate via transdermal route by DOE Approach. Materials Methods: Transferosomes are made up with bilayer forming phospholipids biocompatible surfactants like sodium deoxycholate. also acts as edge activator which stabilizes phospholipid increases deformability vesicle. were designed Box-Behnken Design. For usage a transferosomal gel, drug encapsulation in various formulations having 100 mg concentrations Carbopol-934 (0.5,1.2 g) being studied. Results: Entrapment efficiency (EE percent), content, in-vitro skin penetration testing, stability studies all found produced formulations. Transmission Electron Microscopy confirmed that vesicles spherical shape. According findings, was effectively pinned standardised concentration 0.1 g optimised transferosome TG2 exhibited encouraging results, maximum release (94.32%). Conclusion: promising long-term delivery for relatively stable. This research work reveals transferosomes containing could be used treat squamous cell carcinoma delivery.
